My wife and I are so glad we chose FBC for our basement finishing project. From design through construction, we were completely satisfied with their communication and quality of work, and they kept everything within our budget and on schedule.

That's not to say that the construction went perfectly (as things rarely do). However, when mistakes were made, the FBC team took full accountability and remedied the issues at no expense to us. We would recommend FBC to anyone looking for a basement builder that values communication, quality, and integrity.

We have really enjoyed the process of working directly with the designers, project management team, and construction team. They have an incredible sense of communication and transparency. We like the process of having an actual 3D rendering of what the space will look like; and the finished project has always been better than expected.

Compared to every other construction experience we've heard from friends and family being a complete horror story, ours was great with the most predictability, communications, + quality craftsmanship. We expected some standard amount of snafoos, but they were surprisingly quite small.

We highly recommend FBC to everyone, but we're unique in that the price tag was achievable for us. We preface that it's like getting a "cadillac" of construction companies - the price tag was up there - but it was worth it for us to buy peace of mind that our project was high quality, on time, minimal surprises, and we didn't have to spend much of our personal time dedicated to it.

Our project manager Katie was amazing, and it was great to experience their different trade partners actually caring a lot about providing us with the final product we wanted, and that we were happy with all the details.

Overall we're so happy we picked FBC. We plan to live in our home for a long long time and this project was the icing on top of our dream home.

Not your run of the mill contractor. FBC really has a tried and true process from design to build. Both a designer and project manager were assigned to our basement project. Communication and responsiveness were top notch throughout the process and exceeded our expectations. The project went mostly according to plan and when it didn't, FBC addressed any issues that came up. Would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Finished Basement Company to anyone looking to finish their basement. From initial design to finished project they were extremely helpful and the updates through BuilderTrend kept us up-to-speed on what was being completed throughout the project. Amber did an awesome job drawing up two designs and working with us to blend them together into exactly what we were looking for. She was also very helpful in the selection process. Spencer did a great job as project manager keeping us updated on the status of the project and helping out with getting the finishing touches taken care of.

We were drawn to FBC because they offered a “nearly finished basement” option which basically means they do everything up to the drywall (we are painting and installing floors and other finishes ourselves). We had a great experience with everyone on the team. We ended up with a design we love. The communication throughout the remodel was phenomenal. We knew what to expect each day and they would have finished ahead of schedule but for an unforeseen plumbing issue we had to resolve. We are really happy with FBC and the job they did. High quality work. The pricing was transparent and it is nice we can save some money doing some of the finishing ourselves. Would highly recommend!
