We can not say enough about Trey and all the workers involved with From the Ground Up. They worked seamlessly with other contractors that we had working on other areas of our home and did beautiful work on landscaping, hardscaping, and building our deck. Trey returned several times over several months to not only check on progress but also to assure all the work was in line with the quality he expects. He worked with us without complaint when we had some changes from our original plan and was professional at all times. This company literally changed our home from a place with no outdoor living space (we couldn't really host family and friends outdoors) to our dream home where we now can spend countless hours on our patio, gardens, and deck. Trey and his family are now more than just our outdoor living contractors to us...they now consider them friends. I can 100% recommend them without hesitation!

From the Ground Up removed our old concrete patio, below grade door and stairs, and created a beautiful new paver patio area with a pergola, water feature, and fire pit. They did a great job matching the stone facing on the house after they removed and filled in the door. We are very happy that we went with Trey and his crew! We started down the path of redoing our large patio (around 1,100 sq ft) by meeting with several companies and contractors The project seemed to just keep getting larger and larger, but when we met with Trey from "From the Ground Up" he really listened to what we were trying to achieve from an aesthetic as well as budgetary point of view. Trey helped us with the design aspects and was extremely flexible when we made adjustments along the way. He was also able to complete a few projects that were in addition to the patio for us. We ran into some rot needing carpentry work on our screened porch which they repaired as well as a drainage issue that they were able to engineer a fix for. His crew is hardworking and courteous, always cleaning up at the end of the day.

Trey was extremely transparent with us on what they were doing each step of the way. He is a great communicator, there were never any hidden costs or surprises. The work that Trey and his team completed is such high quality, it turned our patio area into an unrecognizable oasis and we could not be more pleased. We can't recommend Trey and his team enough. Trey was extremely professional and great to deal with from the initial meeting through the follow up walk through on the extensive hardscape work that they did at my home. From The Ground Up built our patio with a reverse gable roof. Their workmanship is excellent. The employees were on time, friendly and respectful. They are detail oriented and provided us with a beautiful structure that we know we will enjoy for many years. Can't say enough good things about Trey and his team.

From the early planning stages, Trey was patient and helpful in answering questions, helping us with layout, selecting materials and making suggestions that would work best for how we were planning to use our patio.
When the patio was in going in, we were even more impressed with the work ethic of he and his crew.
Trey was onsite daily and he and his guys worked until everything was perfect and took the same care and time that I suspect they would have taken if they were working on their own homes.
