We have been under contract with Maronda Homes in Thonotasassa, FL since last August. We were introduced to Laura Vanater, New Home Sales Consultant, while viewing the Livorno model home in Graceland Estates. The Phase 2 lots were all accounted for and we were on the wait list. The following week there was an available lot and Laura quickly reached out to us. From day one, Laura has been honest, professional, and transparent. She has been available to respond to our questions during our build process. We look forward to closing on our new home in the coming month.

Great customer service, Marie spent more than 2 hours with us showing every detail plan and answering so many questions that we had.
1 acre lots, very close to USF, but the home floor plans are not so great.

The house comes with so many defects. The house was not ready even on the day of closing. We made mistake signing and thought the problems will be taken care of. The drywall had a hole and we were told that they will not remove cabinate to fix it. We compromised with them just filling it up with foam and close. Otherwise there may be pests hiding there. Now, my property lot has water ponding after the rain and we are told that because we chose this lot . They should not have sold this lot. The grading is bad and the water is collected and reached within 10’ of my house and building supervisor lisa first said it’s 72 hour rule before they can do anything . When we asked for the document , then she said oh it’s 48 hours rule and water has to be within 10’ of the house. . We took pictures and video and sent to her since water is so close, Her response to me was she has other works that needs to be done before day ends. She said her boss will call us which never happened. We feel like we are treated like trash after we signed the closing documents as we have to beg for everything . We spent so much money for the house and this is what we get. Very bad customer service . Most of my yard can’t be used due to water collection after the rain and there is not route for water to exit. It’s just the way they built it. Very very Poor planning and grading . Poor planning and non professional behavior.

To our sales person Mrs Laura Vanater, welcome my family with the walk thru through the Livorno model home and and we were sold at first sight😌😇 very professional and high class service . We are weeks from closing and it’s been a long journey almost a year of waiting. So thankful for your updates every week since construction started🙏🏾 I highly recommend Maronda homes to anyone that’s indeed of luxury living💸😌

We are delighted so far about the home building process. We are going to have our new home in Graceland Estates, and Marie has been outstanding and very helpful during this process. Can't wait to move in!

Update. Quite a few misled and outright lies. Love the house and neighborhood, but HOA ended up being 140% more than we were told and what we signed. Paid for blinds package and was told they were for every window including the garage, then told no. Then later on the houses built after ours with the side garage ended up having the blinds installed on the front garage windows. We do not have hardly enough roof vents (2 for a almost 2800 sq ft home), and the vice president or someone high up was supposed to get back with us he told my husband in an email in a few weeks, that was over 4 months ago. Still no response to our replies. Everytime we put in a work order we are told oh that is this or that service to fix that. Funny how everyone is so helpful until you sign the contract lol.

The on-site sales representative was very informative and helpful. Touring the Livorno model was stunning! Sadly, Graceland Estates is booked, but similar homes will be available at Maronda's other community, Heritage Estates, approximately two miles away.

failed to see Livorno model home. Tried two times. The first one i made online appointment on sunday. I recived a confirmation letter and prepared to visit Livorno model. Sunday morning they called me and told they can not meet me in sunday and canceled appointment. I made another reservation on wednesday online and recieved on site - Thank you, but didi not recieved any confirmation letter. I came to the site in appointment day and met nobody in the office. I called to Marie and she got confused in statments. Asked to come back tomorrow. They dont care about customers time at all. Will try to avoid such company and will tell all my freinds not to use their service

I purchased a home recently in Graceland Estates, and the sales team are very misleading. I was shown a specific lot for my house to be built on, and when I went to see the developer, he showed me a totally different plot of land. Also, they showed the specific location where the house is to be built, but again, today with the developer, the house is being built in a different spot on the property. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible!
