In the last two years the service has really gone down hill. Drivers are rude and confrontational, I've had drivers argue with me just getting on the bus about such asinine things, the latest was how I was stood at the bus stop that I was third in line for. Which perhaps answers the "review" from the Bus Driver below this one as to why customers complain about them, people wouldn't say two words to you if you didn't suddenly pick a fight with them, would they? If you hate your job, find a new one, we just want to go from A to B in peace.

Aside from the rudeness, which honestly just boggles my mind, drivers often don't stop for people, ignore stop requests, and injure people not waiting for people, clearly struggling, to sit down. It really didn't used to be like this, two years ago anything like this happening was rare, but today it's daily.

My theory is 2 years ago if you had a problem you could log a complaint and you'd get a response back that it was being dealt with. Try logging a complaint today, or calling. You'll hear nothing back, probably because it goes no where. So the reason for the decline in quality of service is because there are no consequences for bad drivers. Look, I work too, I understand customers can be unreasonable and make ridiculous complaints, but this doesn't mean every complaint is unreasonable, it is why there should be someone going through them, ignoring ridiculous ones, and taking action against legitimate ones. The injuring people on purpose, what's the plan here? HART will be sued for such injuries, there is no defense, it is a requirement of the CDL license to make sure passengers are seated and secure. This isn't an asinine complaint, but several times this year (and it's only March) I've seen elderly people fall because of this behavior, and customer service doesn't care.

If the service gets much worse, I don't think there will be a point of its existence any longer. What are the hundreds of millions in tax payer funds paying for exactly? We clearly don't need customer services, they don't do anything, an automated bus time phone service could replace what they do. No point in having depot managers either, bus drivers do whatever they feel like. Someone call Elon, I've just saved half of HART's budget.

Good morning I want to say that as a driver not of city transit. I’ve been at the Tampa stop and I’ve seen some of the passengers that get on the city bus. What I find interesting is no matter how, when ,where, who. Passengers are never never satisfied. I want to know from the passengers what is your job where is it located, I want to know do ppl complain about you do your job. You think that will never be seen bc you think no one will find out. As a driver some of the passengers have had a bad morning, afternoon, evening. So to get them to feeling better they get on the bus with an attitude and get with other passengers and start complaining and bad talking a driver. What they don’t know and nor do they care. That this driver maybe new to Florida all together or that driver maybe going through something just like you. Until passengers realize drivers are human and make mistakes the better things will be. With all of this negativity you give that driver is looking for another job. Which means that bus you ride that route get you to your destination. May not have a driver bc that driver has found a job that they can develop better in and in their new job the passengers understand stand there’s traffic.bad days.. Your attitude doesn’t help at all. Of course you will say good! Remember how long will it be before someone will apply for the job get trained or even stay. As a passenger you will say I’m glad there gone remember you have a job and when someone complains about you and even have you staying at home for your bad day. Just remember how you complained and complained until that driver, quits or gets fired. Driving ppl around isn’t s good job. So DRIVERS go get your A and drive solo or with your pet. Ppl will never never be happy with anything you do. Classes are free for your A!,,,, I know passengers are horrible. Of they will say do your job better. Since we don’t know where they work we don’t know how horrible ppl think they are at their job… DRIVERS stay safe and go get your A!!

Consistently late, so I guess you can rely on that. About 3 times in the past month, the bus just hasn't even shown up, and it only comes once every hour. Waiting in the Florida summer heat for an hour is not ideal, and when they do show up, it's late by 10-15 minutes or more. I'm giving 2 stars because when they're payment methods for card don't work (which also tends to happen), they'll be nice about it. Other than that, it's terrible. No one's fault but those in power doing anything to draw funding away from public transit, though.

The new way to pay for the bus is crazy because not everyone has money on their phone. Some people doesn’t even have a phone. You will have to pay for each bus

First time this far south in floriduh in, lets see, 30 years and Im spending memorial day weekend at the truck stop because there's no affordable way to get from any of the truck stops into any nearby city for a little tourism. I risk my life navigating your horrendous drivers to bring you goods and the only return is that I get pulled into every scale in the whole state and then am made to sit in the middle of nowhere for the trouble. Thanks. I trust a bus driver over a florida uber any day. Cant wait to go back to the dumpster fire west coast, bums and all.
