Tom knocked on my door to let me know that our duel fuel system wasn't working. He looked at the wiring and was able to sort everything out very easily. It was nice to have a personable representative show up and fix our problem so efficiently.

Great customer service and very good, stable rates for a rural co-op. They have made great progress in recent years reducing outages by being proactive instead of reactive.

Over priced. The guy that came out was rude. Will avoid calling for locate again. They are slow to respond. The rebate system sucks.

My transformer blew in the middle of the night a while back and they had it fixed in an hour after I called to report it. It’s ironic how most of these reviews are complaining about the electricity price but yet they can easily afford a lake cabin powered year round 🙂 Of course they need to charge more when the population density is low versus big cities….. I haven’t had any issues with their power. Customer service has always been pleasant.

Overpriced, proprietary (aka. Monopoly) electric company in town that you have to stick with no other options. We’ve had multiple power outages during the season and the food went bad! We don’t come up north much but bills are insanely outrageous! Bad service and company policy is heartless. Don’t give any one time grace on late payment or payment plans. I got hit with service disconnection because they said they sent 2 notices to my place, which is NOT my primary address that I missed. They said I’ll have to pay delivery dispatch service for 2 times that they went out and an additional $200 collateral to get it connected with total is around $600!!!. Thinking to go solar or some sort of portable battery backup.

I called this morning. Tree that uprooted from winds fell onto another tree that happened above our power pole and lines. With upcoming holiday weekend and kids coming the fear of the down tree falling onto the power line/ pole was a bit worry some. Called and spoke with Shanna at Itasca Mantrap this morning. I sent her pictures and she was absolutely great to work with on the phone. Didn't expect the guys to come today!! Kevin and his coworker (didn't get his name sorry) were absolutely FANTASTIC!! Thank you everyone at Itasca Mantrap for helping keeping us safe! You guys are all so much appreciated!!

Without even so much as a phone call they ripped up our yard, cut through our septic system in three places, and never even told us. Only because I had a trail cam did they admit "we should have probably told you". Their service is awful and their response was the most unprofessional experience I've had. Not once have they even expressed any understanding let alone an interest in making it right. They also squash anyone who points that out. There was even a time a tree was down on their equipment and unlike any other power company in the country they didn't feel the need to clear it!

They should be embarrassed, I'd say ashamed but they clearly have no shame.

By far the worst electric company that I have been a part of and we have no other choice than to get our power from them due to the location that we live in.

In the last three years I have had nothing but problems with power flashing on and off and complete outages when the weather is not even a driving factor and this happens multiple times a month.

They converted a lot of the utilities to underground and still have a horrible infrastructure. Not sure what to do at this point other than look at a new location out of their region.
