Decent customer support but houses are costing $800k+. There is only 5ft between houses and no backyard at all. Dead end of KBar ranch.Surely not the Florida way of living. Spend few more dollars and buy some estate. Plus CDD of $4000+ and extra HOA fees. kidding.
Plus there are land problems, no fencing allowed for few lots.

My wife and I closed on our new home in late July and could not be more pleased with the level of quality and professionalism from M/I Homes. It was about a year and a half long process, but well worth the wait. Everyone on the sales team, including Gary and Leslie, were amazing and incredibly patient with us. The design center experience was a breeze, thanks to Sarah, the closing team was incredibly efficient, Jenna from the loan department was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and I'd say most importantly, our construction manager Rell was incredibly thorough throughout the entire process and demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence, as he understands how overwhelming an experience like this can be for many of us. He was incredibly responsive from the very beginning and made sure that all of his subcontractors were doing exactly what they were supposed to do. I see some reviewers posting negative comments about the builder, but showing up at the model home/office without an appointment is YOUR fault, not the builder's. If you go to the website, you will see that appointments are required. You don't just show up on THEIR property unannounced and expect to walk through the model home. The sales team is always busy and cannot juggle random people just showing up unexpectedly.

If you're lucky with the opportunity to build within K-Bar Ranch with M/I, you will not regret it. We researched several different builders across the Tampa Bay area before we made our decision, and M/I is the best. This is an absolutely stunning community and close to everything.

I feel compelled to write this review, having a relative move in here this year and being involved with their new home demonstration /final walk through(and follow up warranty appointments). I am currently building a home in a different community/builder and the lack of attention to detail in my home compared to their kbar ranch home is astounding. I was very impressed with their finished home and wish I could say the same for my builder! It is obvious that they care about the clients and their finished product.

My husband and I went to visit this property today with our son (Father’s day- K-bar ranch MI homes located at 10805 Rolling Moss Rd) and the Person they had working was extremely rude, as soon as we opened the office door she said “did you just go through that house!” We said “Yes, there were other people there so we toured the model home” there was a nice lady giving the tour and we assumed that was the Agent from their model homes office. When we said that she replied with a hostile loud tone “yes because they have an appointment” we were completely unaware they were appointment only but Even then that was a horrible handling of this situation , The correct greeting should have been “Welcome how can we help you?” if it’s only by appointment (which is not on google) she could have proceeded that with “We are only by appt but we would love to schedule one for you” not “did you just walk thru that house?!” Since that’s what the point of Model homes are and clearly other people were touring horrible execution. She is in the service of hospitality. Then, as we left the office she started mumbling, as she closed the door on Us angrily “next time don’t walk through a home ” we didn’t hear the rest but at this point my husband was not taking it lightly and asked what she was mumbling and she kept telling us rude things as we walked away. Incredibly rude and unprofessional & She should definitely be working in a different industry. There are many ways to deliver a message & get a point across without having to be rude.

This is a large and spacious development on the northern part of K-Bar Ranch in the New Tampa community. Its accessible to Bruce B Downs Boulevard and I75 to the entire Tampa Bay area. The development is well maintained with beautiful plantings along the roadways. The home selection is varied from town homes to large multi bedroom single family homes. Many custom features can be added. This is well worth a visit when looking for a new home.

From the Leslie and Gary at the model home to the closing department everyone was great. Very professional they work extremely hard for you. They are the best in the business. And we have a great home.

HOA currently is a mess. Until all the homes are built, the control is going to be with MI Homes. Please beware before buying.
