UPDATE 11/23. After I posted this review we got a call the next day from Jenny. She came out to look at the issues we still had. Within a week or 2 she sent their carpenter out to fix the issues.

We had a horrible experience with Schnaitman's flooring. We have a small kitchen so was hoping for seemless work. We had tile put in and flooring. The gentleman who came to do the work did the flooring first? I’m not a contractor but I know to do the flooring last. He did a horrible job with the tile and had unfinished work. They day he said he was leaving, I said I hope you will be back to finish up underneath the window. He said, no I’m completed. There was a 1/2 inch gap between the windowsill and the tile. He was very messy and scratched our Corian countertops. I asked him 2 times to put a tarp down on the countertop while working. Once he left, we reached out to Jenny and we sent pictures and she even came out. She acted like it was no big deal. She said, we will have him come back out to “fix” it. We said no, we want your top guy. And didn’t want the same guy coming back out. She agreed to do that. Even the TOP guy that came out made a mess with the grout and WE had to fix things. A year passes and now we get a crack in our wood flooring. We wanted to use a local place and regret every minute of it. Be careful when using Schnaitman's Flooring. Very disappointing for the $ we spent and they weren’t even concerned about the work the 1st guy did. Val was great to work with, so that was a positive.

I usually don't write reviews and I'm a mild-tempered person but I was faced with immensely rude staff. Not helpful at all and they seemed to be less than interested in working with me and my project. There are way better companies in the area to use for your remodeling needs.

Our bathroom remodel turned out very nice. The logistics for obtaining supplies and scheduling services were a little slow, but in the end, we were very satisfied with the outcome.

I must say that Valarie at Schnaitman's Flooring helped us select the right carpet for the house. Her keen sense for color and carpet material was a perfect match. The carpet was delivered on time and their installers did a very professional job around those tough corners and transitions. They were very clean, courteous and cared for getting the job done right. The kitchen is the next project and judging from the quality that they have in their beautiful showroom we look forward to that personal and professional touch next. Thank you !

We live in Silver Spring, MD and are just beginning the process of renovating our kitchen. As we passed through Sroudsburg, PA on the way to visit family this week, we stopped into Schnaitman's just to look at product. What a great experience! Although they knew we were not going to be customers, Jenny Schnaitman and her husband kindly spent time answering our many questions about materials and the renovation process. We found the information very helpful and appreciated their generosity. If we lived in Pennsylvania, we'd have a contract with Schnaitman's Flooring America!

I send my customers there. They have a large selection of floor and wall tile along with other types of home flooring. There prices are competitive with anyone . They also have a kitchen cabinet area with a nice display area.
