Smith & DeShields is an outstanding local company with reputable staff, can't say enough about the company, their virtues and their corporate culture. We renovated out home Summer/Fall of 2022, and ordered all our millwork from them (ship lap, base molding, door casing and doors) as well as all our door hardware!). Customer service was great all the way through, they worked with us on our overage/returns and came back to fix a faulty front door install (not their fault, the installers!) over a year after installed with no expectations from us. If you are new to the area, like we were, this is one Naples local company you want to form a partnership with for your next uplift or build. Our luxury real estate business, Matt Brown Real Estate, refers clients to Smith & DeShields month after month - nothing but 5 stars! Special shout out to Jordon, Juan and Dominic for all their hard work and amazing customer service!

I had the pleasure of working with Michael Jordan recently at Smith & DeShields in Naples, FL. He provided excellent customer service! He was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations for the right type, size and color cabinet pulls for my new kitchen. He was very responsive on email and phone calls, and made the whole process stress free! Per his recommendation I ordered EMTEK Select - Black and brass Knurled pulls. They are stunning and great quality. I couldn't be happier with the hardware.

Honesty, it really made me feel better and I will go back and ask for Cynthia next time and see if I can happily find my new front door. This is the treatment I had always had before. Soooo… changing review from a one star to 3 stars and then will te-review when I go back in to talk with Cynthia. ?

Original 1 star review - Two people behind counter - no one wanted to help me get a replacement front door. I have used S&D before and been very pleased. This was Such A let down. Came in Saturday at 9:30. No other customers. Young woman was pleasant and said she could take down info but couldn’t help me she the asked the “gentleman” next to her if he wanted to help me. He begrudgingly said he was doing computer notes and didn’t even look up and mumbled , “you looking for a door?” Which I had just explained. Obviously going elsewhere.

I'm going to revise my review. It appears there is some discrepancy on what I thought I heard and what the salesperson claims they said about lead time. Using the lead time they claim, we're still a week or two past it. I can understand a delay. But a little communication would prevent a lot of angst. I'll comment in the quality when the doors are delivered.
Edit: Quality is outstanding. Very pleased. Will come here again soon.
