Good place with historical vibes. We went there for brunch and it didn't disappoint. The food is good, with some dishes a bit underwhelming. Sandwiches and the flatbread are quite flavorful but I would skip the French Dip. Although the homemade chips are pretty tasty, their fries aren't good. The coffee and service are smooth, with no sign of bitterness. Will try dinner next.

First time going here. It was my aunts retirement lunch and it was actually really good. I got the steak and eggs because it was brunch time.
Our waiter was Zach. He was also the bartender at the time. You could tell because he really lacked in the serving department. He didn’t even ask us if we wanted any water refilled. Not even one time. He would ask us a question but wouldn’t even wait for an answer. We would want something but he would be already walking away too quickly to say anything. He was kind. He wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best. We were the only table in the bar so it wasn’t that he was busy either. There was one couple at the bar at one point.
The food was good though and we didn’t have to wait super long. There was 8 of us.
We had a reservation too so we didn’t have to wait for a table. It seemed like there was a bunch of other parties in other parts of the restaurant going on so it seems to be a popular place for that.
The bathroom looked clean.
I liked the room we were in too. It was aesthetic with its wooden exposed beams and the light fixtures were pretty.

HIGHLY recommend the Spring House Tarvern for any private party. They were so accommodating with all our needs and the staff went over and above to ensure our event was everything and more! Our guests couldn't say enough about how wonderful everything was.
If you are looking for an event space with exceptional service look no further!!

Wonderful, clean local bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere, diverse patrons, good food and excellent Happy Hour drink specials. ($5 house wines and $7 house well drinks). Bartenders (Zach 1 and Zach 2) are the best - attentive but not overbearing. Always an enjoyable time.

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious dinner. First time here in a while and not sure why. Food, service and atmosphere are always great. The Filet and Halibut were both cooked perfectly. I was wishing for more of the tomato saffron butter sauce, but otherwise perfect. Our server, Debbie, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. She mentioned they have half price wine bottles on Wednesday so we plan to try that very soon. Lots of wine and cocktail choices. We ordered Blueberry Crumb Pie and Carrot Cake to go and they were also delicious.

Absolutely amazing is all I have to say, we went there for Valentine's Day dinner & it was just soooo good. The service was incredible, we ordered & within five minutes had our food, we were there under an hour & thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a latte & coffee with our dessert, they were really good as well. I'd definitely go back for another dinner, Totally worth it.

Food was average, and the service was pretty good. We ordered the Frutti Di Mare, the pasta was way over cook and kind of mussy and the seafood is not too fresh, kind of surprise on the quality of food. Crab cake was good. My wife ordered the Prime Rib, which was pretty good.
