Anyone who has ever had major construction done knows how much of a headache the process can be. That was NOT the case with Scott and Stoney Brook Construction. They were absolutely amazing to work with!! They just finished our basement for us and it looks fabulous!! They helped make our dreams a reality. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the easiest person to work with lol. I'm very particular, and do not accept anything but the best. Scott and his team went above and beyond to meet my expectations. He is very responsive, kept me up to date on scheduling, is very detail oriented, and easy to talk to. When I threw curveballs at him in the middle of construction, he was quick to pivot in order to meet my demands. I will definitely be using Stoney Brook for our future projects. If you have any home improvement needs, I would highly recommend Stoney Brook Construction. You will not be sorry. Thanks again Scott for everything!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My wife and I hired Scott to remodel our kitchen and family room. The quality of the work is superb. Scott is a professional contractor. He is responsive. He manages his subs extremely well. His pricing is fair and transparent. No hidden fees. No surprises. Everything is laid out in the proposal and when a change order is needed (and if it’s a big job, plan on at least a couple things that were unexpected), Scott lets you know the cost upfront so you can make an informed decision.

Our particular job was done on time (actually a bit ahead of schedule). We are delighted with the end result and have had nothing but great comments from everyone who has seen the final product.

I know Scott is quite busy, but I have to tell you during our project, we felt like we were his only client. He is fair, honest, kind, responsive, respectful. How often do you find those traits in a contractor? Perhaps the best review we can give Scott is that we already hired him for another project.

Wow! I am very impressed. I told Scott exactly what I needed, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the final result. I had them renovate a bathroom and bedroom. It came out looking very modern and they were done within two weeks.

Scott runs a professional, detail oriented company. We had a 1/2 bath added to the second floor. Other companies we had quote showed up with one person and after a walking thru, emailed a short one page quote. Scott showed up with his construction foreman, plumber and electrician. A few days later he came back in person with a multi-page quote that explained everything he was proposing, broke down the cost and had a sketch for the new bathroom. Stoney Brooke was not the cheapest but we have had bad experiences using the low bidder. We were impress by Scott's thoroughness with the quote and chose Stoney Brooke.
Scott kept everything on schedule except where we made changes after they started. His crew are professional, polite, and good at what they do. They tore parts of our house apart and put it back together so that you can't tell anything was done. The painter even came back to touch up a few small scuff marks and a couple nail heads that were missed.
We are pleased with our new powder room. It looks exactly the way we wanted it. We are pleased with the whole construction process from start to finish. We would definitely use Stoney Brooke again and recommend them to anyone considering improvements to their home.

We hired Scott and his team to do a few basement remodeling projects, including installing custom sliding barn doors, drywall repair, baseboard installation, a new ceiling fan installation and wiring, and finish a new linen closet. All the projects were done professionally by his team. Scott communicated every step of the way and was fully transparent during the entire process. After striking out trying to find someone to do the various projects, we are glad that we contacted StoneyBrooke Home Renovations and will certainly use them again for any future home renovation projects.
