Our furnace was short cycling and after having it looked at, we were told nothing was wrong. We were billed for multiple hours of labor and informed our furnace was running this way for efficiency. After the temps dropped to -20F outside, our furnace was relighting the burner 6+ times every time the thermostat called for heat.

We were convinced something was not right and we reached out to a real professional who told us what was actually wrong. The furnace was overheating because of a obstructed condenser, see the attached picture. The lack of airflow caused the furnace to bounce off the high limit switch. Something like this should have not been overlooked.

Stout & Evink were contacted with this information. No call back, no apology, no refund. Save yourself the time and money to find someone with better knowledge and customer service.

Professional staff and good communication. I had a pipe burst in the restaurant and had someone on location within an hour. The entire job was done within 30 mins and the billing was very reasonable. They are my first call for anything plumbing related, home or commercial.

I wish I could give Stout & Evink 100 stars instead of 5! My AC stopped cooling yesterday afternoon. Now, I may be from the South where its 115 degrees on average but that doesn't mean I enjoy sweating to death lol. Back home when your AC stops cooling you have at least a 2 week minimum wait time for someone to come fix it. I thought for sure when I started making phone calls first thing this morning and kept getting voicemails that I was about to have flashbacks of Southern living. I stumbled across Stout and Evink online (new to Pipestone so I had only seen one other company that deals with AC repairs). I called and to my surprise a human being answered!!! Shocking I know! Within a few hours the sweetest guy came out and had my AC blowing nice cool air 15 minutes later! He pinpointed the part it needed within minutes. Hands down the best service ever!!!! From this point on I will only use Stout & Evink!!! Thank ya'll so much for saving me from Southern flashbacks (seriously.....THANK YOU!!!)

Boyfriend called them because of reputation. He was told there's no cost for drive time, which I should have known better, but hey! It's what he said, so cool, right... even better. So we have them come to Tracy. He was here 15-20 minutes and fixed the issue. Next, I get a bill for $200! 3 hours of labor invoiced! Not happy!

My husband called to have them come out help fix 1 loose pipe that wouldn't stay together after a family member on his side put a T shape drain in under the sink. ...got all brand new (we had my mom at our place watching the kids when they could come since we had an appointment couple hours away.) My husband asked only for the one spot that is not hooked together due falling off to be looked at and fixed if possible....no calls instead we get home all new (2 pipes old that they claim is new) and they took our pipes we bought brand new from the store (almost $100 worth) 1 month later bill says they here 1 and half hours (hour and 10 min. Mom told us when we got back) also we had to pay for all. We call up she tells us he's the pro not us so he decides what happens to our pipes....um worse service ever!!! Also says we only lie as to..um we just moved in and we had broken all the way drain system so we bought only 3 weeks before and hardly got turn water on so damage should be 0...we want our pipes back and lower bill by little turned to her saying sorry we do as you call to fix the problem...we don't check things and we come fix all the way as we feel is the need not our fault and I'll see but doubt your pipes are here..they through them once they get back.
Then she said your 1st time so you don't get what regulars do and then said I have important customers to get to that matter.

They came out on Monday April 1
to fix sewer problem. Will here it is Sunday and it’s backed up again. Now my basement is flooded. And I can’t get ahold of them, thanks for nothing
