I really enjoy coming here to spoil my princess, Venus. She loves the food, her toys and most of all, her cat tree. She straddles it and is just on it all the time. Customer service is always comforting, thank you 💜

This place is amazing. They will help you figure out anything you need to know about animals, wildlife or domesticated. They do ask that you let them know before you bring a dog in, because they have a young dog that they are socializing, so they need to restrain him before you go in with a pet. Their prices are reasonable, and on bird seed I have not found a better price anywhere!

Wyscoy is by far the best pet supply store I have ever been to. Wanda’s knowledge base is above excellent. She takes her time to evaluate your concerns and provides a individual care plan that best meets your pet’s needs.
The store is a wonderland for all pets as well as their owners.

Many times the staff has been friendly, and they were so generous with the ice cream socials for dogs.
Often their prices on dog treats or toys was competitive or better than large pet stores. But three times or more now we have been questioned, berated, or scolded by the staff regarding our dog’s appearance/ health. This I ascertained was from a total misunderstanding of the breed, which they admittedly knew nothing of. Our vet and MANY other dog professionals have commended us on the health, weight, behavior, and overall well being of our dog. But the staff has thrice spoken too hastily with elitist attitudes and implied our neglect of our sweet, beautiful, athletically lean dog. Our vet says she is amazing for 12 years…. So healthy, agile, lean and active, at the perfect weight. But according to the employees, she’s malnourished, neglected, and has poor muscle tone.
In this day, there are many animal abusers about. And I appreciate persons who champion the protection of neglected pets! But some people are swift to speak here at Wiscoy, swift to pass judgment, and even angry with their words as they make sweeping assumptions.
We used to love this place, but after the third time of being berated without hearing my explanations, we won’t return.
If you don’t take your dog inside, you will avoid scrutiny.
Maybe the attitudes here are perpetuated by the elitist college atmosphere.
My advice to the owner’s is to heed wise warnings:
Romans 1:22
“Professing to be wise, they became fools.”

Still, I am thankful for the socials our pup attended, the dog frozen yogurts, and the unique items in the store. Many times we did have nice experiences… about 60% good, 40% terrible.

I won't shop anywhere else for my pet supplies. The staff and ownership are a pleasure to work with. They are friendly and knowledgeable about their products and about pets in general. My wife and I adopted two sweet and loving kittens, which Wiscoy helped the Clearfield SPCA to get them adopted. I would highly recommend Wiscoy to any pet parents who wants to get their furry friends the very best!

I absolutely adore the selection here. I’ve got mice and most pet stores don’t cater this many safe high quality items for rodents. The prices are shockingly good here as well. I’ll absolutely be back regularly to find the next treat for my girls!

I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely had to share my experience with Wiscoy. Wanda is an absolute gem! I was struggling to get my dog to eat (two different times and different issues), and Wanda took the time to help me figure out what was going on. Her knowledge about dogs and their behavior is incredible—she genuinely cares and wants the best for every pet that walks through her doors. Worth every penny! I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my pup’s needs!

Local store with well educated, friendly staff.
This is the go to place in State College for all your pet needs. They have a wide variety of supplies and staff who can best guide you on your purchase. It is also my one stop stop for wild bird food.

Dog are welcome in the store, but please go in and ask first to make sure the shop dog is not loose and visiting customers. It only takes a minute but reduces stress of staff and shoppers. And remember if your dog is in the store no nose to nose greeting with other dogs, for everyone's sanity.

They have special events such as Dogie ice cream socials in the parking lots in August and the ever famous Easter Biscuit Hunt in the spring.
